Just some thoughts

Megan

It seems like she is not dead. They talk about excessive force used to burn the evidence. I know she is an important character in the game, so she must have more screen time later. It's one of two options. 1: She isn't dead, they just want her to look dead, and she will show up later in the game. I hope I get to rescue her, that would be bad ass. 2: She is dead, but will show up through a bunch of flash backs. She is obviously important in the story, and she also has a long past with me. She might be presented in flash backs.

The Police Officers

It seems pretty obvious that Detroit Police is corrupt. The first tip is that a lot of the officers on the street comment how it was good I got out of the force when I did. Also, the retired cop that helped me get info on the first investigation talks about how the high ranking police officers push to close the case without doing a through investigation. Finally, when I am inside the police station and getting access to the various computers through hacking, there are more than one email about cops being told what to do, or outright being a criminal via drugs. Oh, and now I remember that the Medical Examiner was totally cool with "fixing" his paperwork and said that this was the second time he had to change things for us. This points to the Department of Homeland Security manipulating the DPD. And of cource, Mr Sarif was able to influence the police to wait for me to enter the factory first.

Factory Hostages

I am damn upset that I didn't save the hostages. How was I suppose to save them!? There was some kind of bomb inside that would be set off if I entered the door. I didn't see any other entrance into the room. I thought that perhaps I could break a window and enter that way, but the windows didn't look breakable, so I don't know. I got a lot of flak from everyone for not saving the hostages. Even the one hostage I did save lost her husband who was with the group that died. So tragedy all around.
